Power Bound

The world was never supposed to change. At fifteen, Ram Ferro was an ordinary boy living an ordinary life in Valoria. He went to school, studied, read more than he spoke, and spent most of his time with the people he cared about. Then something appeared. No one knew where it came from. No one understood what it wanted. And before the world could find an answer, everything changed. Cities fell. Communications disappeared. Millions vanished from the lives they had known. Something ancient had returned, and humanity had no idea how to stop it. Ram survived. Two years later, he is no longer the boy he was. He has learned how to live in a world where civilization is only a memory, where ruined roads lead nowhere, where strange powers have begun appearing in ordinary people, and where the things that came back are no longer hiding. But there are questions Ram cannot escape. Why can he do things other people cannot? Why has he been able to do them for as long as he can remember? Why do some of the ancient beings look at him as though they already know him? And why does the world seem to be changing again? Humanity is rebuilding. The Elders are returning. Something beneath the surface of the world is stirring. And somewhere between them stands a boy who was never supposed to be important. Ram only wants to understand what happened. But some answers were buried for a reason.
