THE LAST KNIGHT: LAST OF US The world was never meant to have gods. Then the pillars appeared. Colossal structures reaching into the heavens, each bearing the symbol of a different faith. Soon after, a mysterious System awakened, offering humanity a choice: choose a religion, gain its power, and survive. Humanity chose. Those who accepted the power of other faiths quickly became stronger, rising through levels and abilities while the followers of God struggled to keep up. Then Hell's Gate opened. Demons poured into the world, forcing humanity into a new age of dungeons, monsters, levels, and death. As the powerful grew stronger, faith became a weakness. And when the System declared the followers of God enemies of humanity, the hunt began. Eric was one of the last. During a dungeon raid, he is betrayed by the very people he fought beside. Their final order is simple: “Kill the last one.” Left broken and dying at the bottom of the dungeon, Eric has nothing left. No weapon. No allies. No hope. Then something impossible happens. A new System appears. [Requirement Complete.][Congratulations.][You have been born again.] The Holy Spirit System awakens within him, granting access to powers humanity believed were useless—the Spirit of Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Knowledge, and the Fear of God. But Eric isn't returning to become a hero. He has returned to survive. In a world where faith is hunted, demons rule the shadows, and humanity has turned against God, one broken man must rise from the dead and discover what it truly means to be the last knight. They chose power. He chose God. And the world will learn why that choice matters.
