A young conspirator working against Rome, with nowhere left to run, finds her way to the legendary Gaulish village. Old loyalties, Roman schemes, and hidden motives soon bring new trouble to the village. And when Obelix loses the strength that has defined him since childhood, he is forced to confront a question: Who is Obelix when he can no longer be the strongest man in all of Gaul? And what if he already has more to lose than he realizes? A slightly more serious take on the world of Asterix — with adventure, romance, humor and, perhaps, a tear.
