Three days after his father's death, Zayan Hamza discovers that his family has been hiding a secret for generations. An ancient black seal awakens in his hands, revealing debts written into the bloodline. Debts owed between Humans and Jinn. And one of them is due Tomorrow. Suddenly, Zayan is pulled into a world hidden alongside his own, where forgotten oaths can bind the living, ancient promises can become weapons, and debts are never truly forgotten. With his mother taken by a covenant older than anyone can remember, Zayan must learn what it means to be a Collector- the one who judges the debts between Humans and Jinn. But he won't have to face the unseen world alone. A mysterious Jinn named Nazir offers to guide him. A deadly Warden named Zara is ordered to kill him, only to discover that an ancient oath now forces her to protect him instead. And somewhere beyond the mist, something older is waiting. Because the Seal is not telling Zayan to uncover the past. It is warning him that the past is coming for him.
