The Year 3069 and The Last War

Mortality is the great and definitive fate that no one organism alive has resisted. However, in September 24, 2030, humanity attempted to cheat time. Through the discovery of the Dimensional Rift, an artificial portal capable of transporting organisms and preserving their particles at the quantum level without distortions, the Phase II Exploration Project sends its main military and scientific squadron beyond the boundaries of spacetime. The mission: an eight-year expedition into the distant future of 3069.
