Synopsis Welcome to Aetheria, a world where Alma exists as the essence that sustains life, and where nearly every living being can harness it in their daily lives. For generations, humans, elves, half-elves and all other races have lived together in Aetheria, sharing one common fear: the sudden emergence of miasma coming from the rift—a mysterious phenomenon capable of disrupting ecosystems and threatening the survival of all living things. No one knows where miasma comes from. All they know is that it appears seemingly out of nowhere, rising from within the planet itself. Elio has lived a quiet life as a shopkeeper in the small village of Anara. Born unable to use Alma at all, he has always been considered one of the unfortunate few known as Hollows. But his ordinary life changes when he encounters Iris, a mysterious girl who claims to be a Crimson Maiden on a pilgrimage. One incident after another forces Elio to leave the life he once knew and embark on a journey to uncover the mysteries of his world. Along the way, he begins to question the true nature of miasma—and realizes that, without knowing it, he may already be far more deeply connected to the fate of Aetheria than he could have ever imagined.
