Case 2 - The Missing Woman

Aurelius Winterhold, known to most as Leo, is beginning to settle into his new life in Seattle.  His reputation as an investigator is growing, and people are starting to seek him out when conventional methods fail. When the desperate parents of a missing twenty-four-year-old woman arrive at his office, Leo expects another case involving the supernatural.  He couldn't be more wrong.  Emily Carter disappeared after a night out with friends, vanishing without a trace before she could return home. Despite days of searching, the police have found nothing, and with every passing hour, her parents grow increasingly desperate.  Using his unique investigative skills—and a little technological assistance from his sister—Leo begins retracing Emily's final movements.  But the deeper he digs, the clearer it becomes that monsters don't always hide in the shadows.  Sometimes, they look just like everyone else.
