Kyle Strein was having an ordinary day—until the sky cracked open. Two impossible beings emerged and fought above the city, yet somehow, he was the only one who could see them. Then one of them disappeared into his body. When Kyle wakes, he remembers nothing. Only one thing remains in his mind: I want to go home. That's when a mysterious System appears. [MAIN QUEST: RETURN HOME.] There's just one problem. [WARNING: Your definition of "home" is incorrect.] As strange phenomena begin appearing around him, Kyle slowly realizes that his world is only one part of something far larger—and something that knows exactly who he is. He just doesn't remember. Dark Fantasy / Supernatural Mystery / Progression Fantasy / Psychological Horror / Cosmic Fantasy

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 5–9 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views lifetime.
