Somewhere in a small town lived Steven Baringham, a police officer splitting his time between a corporate assignment and regular patrol. He worked for Virtinity Corporation, one of the largest and most influential companies in town. Steven himself resided in a small apartment within a residential complex. On this Saturday morning, as usual, he got up early and headed to "Milky-Cream" for a cup of rice-milk frappuccino. At the register, Steven was greeted by his friend Susan. They exchanged pleasantries and chatted briefly about life. Once his coffee was prepared and served with a freshly baked croissant, Steven said goodbye and set off for his morning jog. He took his favorite route: through the park toward the suburbs...
