Can two broken people change a broken world? Alan was attacked in the comfort of his own home, and a strange voice in his head may have caused his death. But that wasn’t even the worst part. He woke up right after the fact, in a dumpster of all places. But where was that dumpster? That was the real problem. Syncity. Where happy endings don’t exist. Where a life is cheaper than a bullet, and morality has a price in credits. A place that had once only existed in a game. Now Alan has to survive in a place where the weak get sacrificed for the survival of the strong, where those at the top are untouchable, and quite frankly, immortal. Were even the concept of family could be foreign. And friendships? Allies? Love? Maybe nothing more than a fantasy. But that voice in his head holds something he can use to get stronger in order to survive. However, is surviving all that he truly wants? What if Alan could make a difference instead? What if he could change the world? All that he knew was that he couldn’t do it alone. Maybe a woman with a silly and impossible dream was the spark he needed. But that spark had faded once, and it could fade again. Especially to people who had silly and impossible dreams. After all, the world never forgives those who dream of fighting against it.
