Hi everyone, welcome to my latest entry in the Backwards Fairy Tale. This is a series I've been writing for a few years and this one is the fourth book in the series. This one takes on Alice in Wonderland where we meet Alistair Spade who is a student at Wizard Royale Academy where he meets Willow Royale, the daughter of the headmistress, and finds out that she is not only popular but has a secret with her magic that makes her dangerouss due to the control her mother has on her. If you like this work and want to support what I have next or anything else, I do have a Patreon where I have works up in the shop I have revived and post my progress with my writing, you can follow the journey at www.patreon.com/thewritingloft

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 10–19 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views over the recent window.
