Buffed!: A Casual LitRPG Comedy

Dark Lords vanquished: ZERO. That’s what the amulet says. Nobody believes Rusty Walters is from Earth, let alone that he’s supposed to defeat a Dark Lord. After a year, he’s starting to have doubts himself. What working adult has time for an epic quest, anyway? Keeping his party out of trouble is hard enough. Rusty’s the bard and party leader. He has a lute for casting buffs and smacking troublemakers, a stubborn desire to do what’s right, and a sword named Rosie that can kill anything in one hit. He has to stab himself afterward to keep her happy, but with great power comes great regret. Then there's his party. Angie never takes off her armor. Ever. Don’t ask, unless your belly button is dying to meet her greatsword. Gregor wants you to know he graduated fifth in his mage class and is legally an elf by adoption. Then there’s Jork, beardless dwarf healer and Instigator-in-Chief. Rusty wants to do the right thing. His party would like him to get over it. Someday, they’ll get around to that Dark Lord. For now, they’ll be robbing hermits, ruining academic reputations, and wincing at the lamentations of dwarven womenfolk. Buffed! is cozy fantasy’s grubby cousin: a sitcom-inspired story mixing light LitRPG progression, banter-heavy slice-of-life shenanigans, and a Dark Lord adventure taking its sweet time. Contains innuendo but no explicit scenes, meaning Buffed! is only as dirty as you are.
