When a pharmaceutical company pushes an unofficial update into the nanites meant to cure degenerative diseases, and heal wounds, things spiral when the nanites becomes stuck in a logic loop, pitting average people against self-replicating machines directed to protect their hosts at all costs. Will humanity survive or will they be replaced and assimilated?
