Talaria and Back

Talaria and Back

by RoydenAkerley

First ContactHard Sci-fiSci-fiStrategy

The attack by rogue military units was just the beginning. Celestial Explorer flees again to the moon for upgrades to survive. Meanwhile, anomalous events affecting the Voyager Probes are disconcerting scientists. Her crew undertakes a new mission beyond the Heliopause to intercept Voyager and determine what is rewriting humanity's understanding of the cosmos. But deep in the void, they discover a drifting alien ship --- and a terrifying truth. Humanity isn't alone, and are those we rescue already engineering humanity's demise? Is the real threat already among us? NOTE: I can't get images to display on Royal Roads. Therefore, I stripped out all the links. I have images of the people, vessels (including technical layouts) and events which I used to develop the storyline. If you'd rather leave it to your imagination, please do; if not, comment on the story in question, and I will make them available to you. Episode 2 of the Orion Arm Series
