by Tidewrought
Shen Yan went to sleep after another late shift. He woke in a dying village in a world he had never seen before. Here, the Nighttide has swallowed roads, towns, and entire cities. Watchers move closer whenever you look away. Crawlers flood homes after dark. Clean water, food, light, and a door that actually holds are worth more than money. Shen Yan has one advantage. A silver-gray mark in his palm can reforge what already exists—repairing it, strengthening it, or pushing it toward a purpose it was never built to serve. But reforging takes time. It needs something real to work from. And no matter how useful the ability becomes, Shen Yan is still only one man in a world that grows more dangerous with every Nighttide. He isn't trying to save the world. First, he wants a place where he can close the door and sleep without wondering what is standing on the other side. Then he'll make that place stronger. What to Expect: Post-apocalyptic survival horror, gradual progression, shelter building, crafting and reforging, resource management, and a cautious protagonist who prefers preparation over heroics. No levels, EXP, quests, or stat sheets. Update Schedule: New chapters daily.
