Taking a shot at writing a children’s short story here. I actually finished the idea, blueprint, and plot about a year ago, but never had the motivation to sit down and pen all the details. The inspiration came after a He-Man meme passed onto my Facebook feed while I was doomscrolling through current events and all the issues happening around us. Somehow, that turned into a fantasy story about selfishness, greed, and corruption, with a little sword-and-shield heroism. WDYT SYNOPSIS In the Kingdom of Far East Away, young Heen wields the legendary Sword of Truth to battle Harbringer, an ancient evil that feeds on selfishness and corruption. With the Shield of Candor at his side, Heen must uncover the secrets behind the kingdom's corruption and restore truth and justice to the land.
