The city is drowning in fear. A series of brutal murders has left the police chasing a killer who never leaves a trace. As the body count rises, Detective Alex Kingston—an investigator famous for never losing a case—is assigned to uncover the truth. But the deeper he digs, the more the investigation leads him toward someone he never expected. Iris Evans. A quiet college student haunted by strange visions and a past she can't fully remember. As evidence begins pointing in her direction, Alex finds himself torn between what the case is telling him and what his heart refuses to believe. With secrets buried beneath every clue and a killer always one step ahead, the line between victim and suspect begins to blur. And the truth may be far more terrifying than anyone imagined.
