Chosen to Die: Blood Evolution

Rook was born powerless in a world where supernatural abilities decide how far a person can rise. Then a Golden Raven appears with his name on its letter. He has been chosen for the Covenant of Five—a deadly Trial where hundreds will fight for five places among humanity's future champions before the werewolves return under the Long Moon. Rook enters hoping to change his fate. Instead, he discovers one brutal rule: Fail the Trial, and you die.
