Light Sword Path

SYNOPSIS: THE LIGHT SWORD PATH — BOOK 1 Bix is not a hero; he’s a disaster-prone blacksmith whose creations have a habit of exploding, running away, or defying gravity. Cursed with the ability to forge only sentient, highly opinionated magical items, his greatest (and most annoying) creation is Ignis—a fiery, sarcastic spirit trapped within a metal core, constantly berating Bix for his lack of ambition. Together with his unflappable culinary-expert bodyguard, Duke, and a giant, sentient boulder of a friend named Rock, Bix is dragged from the quiet mountains into the heart of the realm's most elite industrial hubs. Their journey escalates from accidental cosmic pranks in the floating sky-port of Zephyros to high-stakes culinary duels and gladiatorial tournaments. When the oppressive Guild of Pure Iron attempts to confiscate his "abominable garbage," Bix is forced to push his chaotic crafting to its absolute limit. In a desperate, frantic forging session, he creates the ultimate weapon: the Light Sword. To test its power against the invading traditionalists, Bix unleashes a massive vertical slash that punches through the sky... and splits the moon in two. The world’s tides are broken, ancient terrors are awakened, and Bix is left holding a drained, useless hilt facing a one-month cooldown. Now, wanted by the world's foremost metallurgical authority and facing a turbulent new era where the very sky is fractured, Bix and his party must flee south into the scorching Searing Dunes. With only his bare fists, his cowardly Never-Hit Armor, and his frying pans to defend them, the accidental architect of the broken sky must learn how to survive a world where astronomy itself has turned against them. The Light Sword is silent, but Bix's chaotic path has only just begun.
