Turned On: The AiMach Chronicles

Chronicle 3 - Two A.I. robot engineers are having a rough week, with possible job losses if their performance doesn't improve. They are working in Europe's Silicon Valley of Zurich, Switzerland on a cold snowy night.  Edouardo decides to throw a 'Hail Mary' of an agentic program he's been secretly working on into a humanoid robot called an AiMach. They figure the week couldn't get any worse, so why not try something new? Maximus 1, the A.I. program, violently rejects its new body, and Alice shuts it down. Maximus then disappears into the company mainframe. They chat by inter-company e-mail for a while before the malevolent  A.I. leaves the building and subsequently cyber-attacks the City of Zurich.
