Synopsis: In 1920, two young scientists from rival nations—Tom Jack from Britain and Inov Wilhelm from Germany—stumbled upon an obscure mathematical file titled The Life. Behind a deceptively simple equation lay a cold, undeniable hypothesis: the probability of human existence, restricted to the scale of the Local Galaxy, mathematically proved that humanity was not alone. Yet, as the dark clouds of geopolitics gathered, the paper was forgotten, buried under decades of national pride, military rivalry, and the onset of World War II. By 1941, as armies tear Europe apart, a subtle disturbance pierces the atmosphere. Unseen by telescopes and invisible to radar, three terrifying entities descend into the foggy, smoke-filled trenches of the European front. They are Hefoses—genetically engineered predators spawned from another cosmos, walking through heavy armor and human flesh, severing the lives of soldiers to harvest the wealth of human knowledge stored within their minds.
