Magic is sung in this world. And Kim Soo-ho can see where songs go wrong. After betrayal destroys the life he spent decades building, Soo-ho jumps from a Seoul skyscraper. Instead of dying, he wakes alone on a mountain in a world of elves, dwarves and magic. Here, spells are inherited as songs, often taking minutes to perform. The same melodies have been passed down unchanged for generations. Altering them is dangerous, sometimes fatal, and questioning them borders on heresy. Soo-ho has spent decades in a society that optimises everything from billion-dollar companies to the number of button presses needed to buy a coffee. To him, inefficiency is not tradition. It is a problem waiting to be understood. He can see mana moving through every phrase of a spell, and he carries something this world has never encountered: a lifetime of musical knowledge from twenty-first-century Earth. So he starts testing. Some songs can be shortened. Others become unstable. Obvious changes produce consequences he never expected. Every answer reveals another possibility, another flaw, and another question about how magic actually works. As elves, dwarves and humans begin to realise what he can do, Soo-ho must decide what it means to possess knowledge capable of changing far more than magic. What to expect: • Progression through experimentation, knowledge and understanding rather than levels• A magic system built around songs, rhythm and musical structure• Slow-burn romance• No harem, no System, and no effortless power-ups Updates daily.
