Fifteen-year-old Gabriel Grant was supposed to have a normal life. Then his best friend is killed by something wearing a human face. Gabriel survives the impossible, returns with strange gaps in his memory, and soon discovers that the wind itself answers him. Armed with a homemade mask, terrible judgment, and powers he barely understands, Gabriel begins searching for answers. But beneath the ordinary world lies a hidden war between superpowered fighters, ancient bloodlines, man-eating monsters, forgotten relics, and secrets tied far closer to Gabriel than he realizes. The deeper he digs, the harder it becomes to tell whether he is uncovering the truth… or becoming part of something much bigger. The world will eventually know him as— GALE.
