Cyrillus was born into the Alarion family, one of the strongest houses in the Dracara Empire. His mother was a High Mage, his father was an A-Rank adventurer, and his grandfather was one of the five Archmages of the Empire. On top of that, the Alarion family was one of the Empire's most successful merchant families. With such a powerful family behind him, you would think Cyrillus would want to inherit their wealth and live a comfortable life. But Cyrillus had a different dream. He wanted to become a soldier. He wanted to join the Imperial Army, become a legionnaire of the Dracara Empire, protect his homeland from its enemies, hunt down monsters, and purge the Empire of criminals who threatened its people. His parents loved him too much to let him pursue that dream unprepared. So, instead of trying to stop him, they trained him. Under the guidance of his powerful parents, Cyrillus began forging his body and mind into those of a soldier. By the time he officially joined the army, he was already strong enough to take on a dozen men by himself. But that was only the beginning. This is the story of Cyrillus's journey toward greatness: from a young boy with a dream of becoming a soldier, to a recruit entering the Imperial Army, to a legionnaire of the Dracara Empire, and eventually, to something far greater than he ever imagined.
