Equinox of Andromeda

「 Be careful which frequency your mind hums to. 」 Oxford, England. November, 1950. Behind the rigid, clockwork logic of the prestigious university spires, the bitter winter snow brings an unearthly chill. Vincent Reinhardt is a brilliant neuroscience researcher whose hyper-analytical mind is balanced by a catastrophic incapacity to manage time. For three years, Vincent has harbored a dangerous, unscientific obsession with a banned, heretical word: 『 SINABURES 』—a theoretical, latent faculty of human consciousness rumored to exist far beyond ordinary brain biology. But the line between observation and participation is razor-thin. During an ominous lecture by the enigmatic Professor Maximilian Woods, Vincent unwittingly steps through a hidden gateway. By decoding the mathematical geometry of the phenomenon, his mind tunes into a forbidden frequency. Suddenly, the physical world fractures. Chalk dust twists into non-Euclidean angles, a glowing fractal pattern burns into his skin, and an articulate, terrifying voice whispers from directly *behind his eyes*. Thrown into a covert battlefield where a shadowy global regulatory agency hunts down unstable human anomalies, Vincent panic triggers a full awakening. Time stops. Reality unravels into millions of visible probability lines, thought vectors, and emotional textures. By collapsing a quantum wave function with a single desperate desire, Vincent freezes a falling glass in mid-air—and paints a massive target on his back. With a nameless multi-national group closing in, a mysterious best friend who knows far too much about the "locks" on human consciousness, and his own notebook writing back to him in his own handwriting, Vincent must master a power that drives ordinary men to irreversible madness. The door has been opened. The upper layer is watching. And somewhere, impossibly far away... something has just focused its gaze entirely on him.
