Relic

In a world where power is decided at birth, every person is born with a Relic embedded within their chest. Between the ages of twelve and sixteen, that Relic awakens—granting its bearer command over the elements and determining their strength, status, and place in society. But at seventeen, he is still powerless. No awakening. No ability. No future. Branded a Dud and trapped at the bottom of a society ruled by the gifted, he has spent years watching others become warriors, elites, and legends while his own Relic remains silent. Until something finally wakes it. What emerges isn't an ordinary elemental power. His Relic possesses an ability that shouldn't exist: the power to grow. Every battle can make him stronger.Every victory can push his abilities further. And what begins as the weakest Relic may have no limit at all. But power like his was never supposed to exist—and the stronger he becomes, the closer he gets to uncovering the truth behind the Relics, the hierarchy built around them, and why his awakening came so late. In a world where everyone is given their place from birth, the boy with nothing may become the one person powerful enough to rewrite the rules.
