Colin Pike spent eleven years on a potato grading line in Rotherham, second shift, deciding whether other people's vegetables were good enough. He dies. He wakes up buried in the soil of a jungle that is not on Earth, with no eyes, no limbs, and no ability to move. Something bites him within the first hour. He kills it by being poisonous, absorbs what's left, and a screen appears.
