Path of Existence

When a cynical Earth gamer logs into the beta test of the mysterious cyberpunk VRMMORPG Path of Existence, he treats character creation like a joke. He builds a stunning, high-end female avatar named Alice, purely as "male bait"—and selects the Fray race, a clandestine species of human-eating predators, just to break the rules and oppose society. He didn't expect the game to become reality. Waking up inside the game permanently transformed, he finds himself trapped in Alice’s body with her memories intact. In this neon-drenched dystopia controlled by the Pure State, Alice is a rising-star First-Class sniper and spy within the Department of Extermination (DEX)—tasked with hunting down mutants and rogue Frays by day, while secretly hiding her own insatiable biological hunger. Armed with a gamer's mindset, an array of lethal espionage skills, and a terrifying hidden Fray evolution, Alice must navigate corporate conspiracies, mutant-infested ruins, and a city full of other stranded players.
