The immortal Bloodlines

IMMORTAL BLOODLINES Thousands of years ago, six members of the same family lived ordinary lives along the Nile. They were born, they grew up, they argued, fell in love, made mistakes and watched the people around them grow old. They had no reason to believe their lives would be any different from anyone else's. Then something happened in Egypt that changed their family forever. What they thought would be a blessing slowly became something else. Their bodies stopped aging, their wounds began to heal in ways they could not explain, and their hunger became something they could no longer ignore. They had become immortal. At first, they believed they had been given a second chance at life. They had all the time in the world to see their children grow, build wealth, travel beyond the lands they knew and experience things no ordinary human could ever see. But immortality comes with a price. The people they love grow old and die while they remain unchanged. The world around them constantly moves forward, leaving behind everything they once knew. Families disappear. Kingdoms fall. Languages are forgotten. Places they once called home become ruins. And the six begin to change with the centuries. Some become fascinated by the power they have been given. Others begin to hate what they are. Old arguments follow them for hundreds of years, and wounds that should have healed never quite do. They try to live among humanity without being discovered, moving from one place to another as the centuries pass. But no matter how far they travel, they cannot escape their past. There are things about their transformation that they were never told. There are rules to their immortality that they have yet to understand. And somewhere in the history they have spent centuries trying to forget, there are answers about why they were chosen in the first place. Their story will span thousands of years, from Ancient Egypt to a world none of them could have imagined when they were young. They will experience love, war, loss, betrayal and everything in between. But immortality was never the same as being untouchable. Eventually, even they will have to face the one thing they thought they had escaped. Death. And when that day comes, they will have to decide what they are willing to sacrifice for one another, and whether living forever was ever worth the cost.
