The Foul Mouthed Monk The Blind Archer The Divine Pimp The Unseen Sorceress The Squeamish Saboteur These are the Eclectics, a group of adventurers that don't fit any moulds.  They do things a little differently.  Society has adapted to the constant chaos of the world by standardizing roles, rules, and expectations.  Because the Eclectics don't and can't meet those expectations they are shunned.  Yet when something comes along that is unusual, difficult to categorize, or just plain weird, they're the team sent in.  Because they aren't constrained by their roles, the standard thinking, or even good taste.  They only focus on results no matter how strange the methods needed. Labyrinth When a docile rural labyrinth suddenly grows out of control in a peaceful agrarian barony and the King won't do anything about it, the local baron calls in the Adventurer's Guild .  Yet, standard approaches to dealing with the violent and deadly dungeon are met with complete failure.  A rising human cost to keep the labyrinth contained necessitates an unusual approach.  A fabulous prize is offered to solve the problem, a prize that could give someone unusual a chance to fit into society.  A chance to be normal.   Hello!  This is my first attempt at publishing a story on Royal Road.  I've written for my own enjoyment a long time and I wanted to have an adventure of my own by bringing some of my stories to you! Please note the content tags for the Eclectics are soft warnings except the Profanity tag.  That one is serious.  There is a main character in this story that says some truly horrible (but funny) things.  If you think a sick burn is hilarious, you'll probably enjoy it.  If you want to just skip the profanity, I understand.  It isn't frequent and I will put a warning in the chapter preface when it does occur.
