by Shane Elliot
The Gods have been dead for centuries, and most of the world has forgotten what they left behind. When Kael Raventhorn’s father is murdered, he inherits a merchant house he never wanted and a trail of secrets Daren died protecting. Elsewhere, a thief steals the heart of a dead Goddess, a Night Guild operative begins betraying her orders, and a scholar discovers the laws of the world are starting to bend. Deep in the Wyrdwood, a woman wakes after two hundred and nine years and recognizes what is happening. The old powers are returning, and they were never the only things worth fearing.
