One-Armed Daughter of Ares

One-Armed Daughter of Ares is a mythological progression fantasy about a female demigod born with one arm named Auja. She suffered terrific abuse at a young age while surviving in a brothel at the cruel hands of Martha Sarssadarsa. Three years later, Auja, now out in the streets of Aresden as a street rat with unexplainable athleticism for a girl her age, despite the abuse she suffered, stumbles across a kind tavern owner named Mija, who chose to adopt her outside of Aresden's current legal system at first. As the story progresses, Auja grows and slowly experiences the life of a little girl she envied; she becomes stronger. All while the scrutiny of the government and the Dark Guilds threatens to close in, and she begins discovering the true depth of the implications of her past. Will she survive the implications of that past, or the wrath of those who oppose her,N become bitter at life and especially those who wrong her, or will she not survive? Time can only spoil us... What To Expect: -Implications of Auja's past -Healing and slice-of-life BEFORE action (I do not feel comfortable subjecting Auja to constant action right after she escaped her past) -Expect the action to come later in the story -Just dark and mature themes in general
