Fear Minamoto

One of humanity's biggest challenges is the fears and phobias we face within ourselves. In Shingetsu, these fears have become physical, in the form of creatures called Moshin. The only line of defense left are the samurai, who are founded by the Minamoto Family.  Yet despite their family’s role in creating the samurai, not a single Minamoto has ever joined their ranks. That changes with Isamu Minamoto, the youngest member of the royal family. On his sixteenth birthday, a Moshin takes someone he loves away from him. In the aftermath, Isamu makes a vow: he will become the first Minamoto to protect his people, proving that his family name can mean more than simply being born into royalty. But when Isamu joins the samurai he comes to find out that defeating Moshin isn't as simple as it seems.  As he continues fighting, he begins to uncover a terrifying truth: his family’s connection to the Moshin runs far deeper than he ever imagined.
