Forestwalker: The Wandering Souls

In another world, Elara and Cait would have grown up like sisters, but that world was forever lost to the tragedies and choices of their elders. Twenty years later, that same inheritance is reuniting this scientifically-minded priestess and thrill-seeking thief in a quest to unravel the mysteries of ancient relics, find a missing father, and discover the truths that lie somewhere between unreliable memories and unconditional love. As Elara and Cait face down the dangerous traps unwittingly set for them by those who love them most, they are both aided and obstructed by the very elders whose choices set them on this path; by a stranger without personal memories and the quiet young boy who has given him purpose, and by a magical feline who oscillates between faithful protector and indifferent demigod. This tale follows a raw, character-driven path that probes the complexities of human connection with equal parts humor and tragedy. Characters are forced to question what "sacrifice" really means as they navigate the rivers of nuance that separate truth from perception.
