The portal network is failing. Mize can feel the fault before the instruments see it. Atla can see when Mize is lying about how much she knows. Across broken workshops, wrong maps, and machines that refuse to behave, they follow a signal that should not exist—toward a rift somebody tried to bury. Broken Rift is a serial science-fiction mystery about practical people, impossible infrastructure, and the trouble caused by refusing to walk away. Broken Rift is an ongoing science-fiction serial. Episodes 001–002 launch together, followed by one complete main-story episode each week. Short Signal stories—recovered transmissions, character moments, field records, and clearly marked non-canon experiments—appear between main episodes.
