Jurassic Jessica — Royal Road Description
Humanity has seven days.
100,000 eggs have been hidden.
Secure an Egg. Secure the Future.
Jessica Nakamura has spent her career studying a world that died sixty-six million years ago.
Then a living leaf appears beneath a scientifically inaccurate Deinonychus display and informs humanity that the Cretaceous Recall begins in seven days.
Governments panic. Stores empty. The internet loses its collective mind.
Jessica mostly wants someone to explain what the hell “Reclamation” means.
Seven days later, everyone on Earth receives a System interface, a two-hour tutorial, and the same warning:
The world is changing.
Prehistoric ecosystems are returning. Carnivores are being released. Modern infrastructure is beginning to fail. And somewhere across the planet are 100,000 living eggs—each offering its claimant access to levels, skills, traits, rankings, future classes, and something far more important:
A place in whatever comes next.
For most people, the Egg Hunt is a race.
For Jessica, it is the first time in her life that knowing the difference between what you observe, what you infer, and what you desperately hope is true can keep someone alive.
Unfortunately, understanding dinosaurs is not the same thing as surviving them.
And the dinosaurs may not be the most dangerous animals in the hunt.
As Chicago begins transforming into an ecosystem that should not exist, Jessica will have to turn paleontology into practical survival, learn a System that seems disturbingly interested in how humanity behaves under pressure, and decide how much of herself she is willing to sacrifice for a future only 100,000 people may be allowed to shape.
Because the Reclamation isn't simply bringing back the past.
It's selecting who gets to inherit the future.

What to Expect
- Science-forward survival LitRPG
- A paleontologist protagonist who actually uses her expertise
- Dinosaurs treated as animals, not mindless movie monsters
- Levels, skills, traits, ranks, equipment, System rewards, and developing class architecture
- Earned progression rather than instant overpowered abilities
- A global prehistoric apocalypse and steadily transforming ecosystem
- Scarce resources and meaningful survival decisions
- Human factions, rival claimants, and morally ugly choices
- Scientific mystery and a much larger System hiding behind the Egg Hunt
- Adult language, gallows humor, violence, and ecological horror
- Wonder and terror existing at exactly the same time
No harem. No instant-OP protagonist. No endless loot treadmill.
Jessica has knowledge, stubbornness, questionable social skills, and an increasingly serious dinosaur problem.
For now, that will have to be enough.
