Magic? What Magic?A Body Cultivation Progression Fantasy Wulfric was a blacksmith's apprentice in 1187. Then a broken wagon killed him. He does not know that. As far as Wulfric is concerned, he was crushed beneath several thousand pounds of wood and wool, lost consciousness, and woke beside an unfamiliar road with one boot missing. Someone must have carried him there. That is the sensible explanation. The truth is considerably worse. Wulfric has awakened in a history that is almost—but not quite—his own. Kings still rule. Lords still hold land. Peasants still work it. Men still fight with steel, disease still kills, and winter is still something worth fearing. Except here, magic is real. Mages serve noble houses. Spells decide battles. Enchantments protect castles. Monsters exist beyond settled roads, and an entire civilization has spent centuries learning to control powers Wulfric cannot even comprehend. Because Wulfric cannot see magic. He cannot feel it. And, for reasons nobody understands, magic cannot affect him either. A mage can cast a spell directly at his chest and Wulfric may not even realize anything happened. Unfortunately, magical healing cannot touch him either. Neither can magical enhancement. Neither can most of the advantages everyone else takes for granted. Wulfric does have one thing: a strange cultivation System that insists his body can become stronger. In a world where power comes from magic, the only path available to him is the one thing he has understood his entire life. Work. Pain. Repetition. And a body that can be forged. Magic built this world. Wulfric is going to have to survive it without any. New chapters twice per week.
