Duren never imagined that dying would become the only way for him to move forward. After living an ordinary life in the modern world, Duren suddenly wakes up in the middle of an unfamiliar battlefield, unable to understand the language, the people, or even the body he now inhabits. Before he can figure anything out, he dies. Then he wakes up again. Every death gives Duren a Death Point, and those points can be exchanged for the ability to return to an earlier point in time. The farther back he wants to go, the more points he needs. It sounds powerful, but returning to the past does not make him stronger, teach him how to fight, explain the world around him, or make dying hurt any less. If Duren wants to survive, understand what happened to him, and save the people he once failed to protect, he will have to turn every mistake, every failure, and every death into something useful. What You Can Expect: A slow-burn time-loop progression fantasy. Duren starts from almost nothing. He does not understand the language, magic, society, combat, or even the identity of the body he woke up in, and he has to learn everything through observation, experience, failure, and repeated loops. Death is useful, but it is never free. Every death still hurts, and repeated deaths affect Duren mentally. His ability gives him information and another chance, but it does not automatically give him the strength to change what happens. Detailed worldbuilding and gradual discovery. Cities, money, languages, social rules, weapons, magic, politics, different races, and everyday life are explored naturally as Duren encounters them. A world that does not revolve around the protagonist. People have their own lives, ambitions, relationships, conflicts, and histories. Important events can happen far away from Duren without him knowing anything about them. Timeline changes have consequences. The more Duren interferes with events, the less reliable his knowledge of the future becomes. Saving someone, avoiding an event, or changing one decision can create entirely different outcomes later. Long-term mysteries, relationships, and progression. Duren will slowly uncover the truth behind his body, his missing memories, the Death Point system, and the world itself while gradually becoming stronger and forming relationships that may change completely between timelines. This is not a fast-paced power fantasy where the protagonist becomes unstoppable after a few loops. Duren's greatest advantage is not that he can die and return. It is that he can keep learning.
