In such a world where Fate governs the lives of all, one mere boy was chosen to see what lies beyond the mundane world he once knew.Phthonos Fragalis— a below-average, utterly unsuitable orphan with nothing to his name. Or at least, that was until Fate had chosen him to become the very first male Oracle in history.Granted a 'marvelous' ability of being able to perceive and even change the future itself, Phthonos finds himself thrust into a world that is far greater than himself. And such greatness does not come without danger. With the Era of the Oracle beginning once more, Phthonos shall see to it that he must too carry the burden and darkness of such a role— but that isn't all he sees.Fate is not as simple as it sounds after all.Neither is the darkness that threatens to consume the very world he has chosen to protect.Because after all— In a world where Fate has already been written, what would happen if someone were to change Fate itself?

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 20–49 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views over the recent window.
