CHRONICLES is a psychological battle fantasy set in a fractured future Detroit. People under extreme psychological pressure can manifest supernatural abilities called Resonance, but if their identity collapses under that pressure, they become monsters called Scourges. The protagonist, Ilen, has spent his life refusing to depend on anyone and awakens chains that literally anchor people and reality together. His path collides with Lyra, a fugitive who can slip through reality but is slowly losing the ability to remain inside it.
