The boring college student life came to a swift end when I, Colt Everson, spied on a witch ritual.
Nothing in my life could've prepared me for finding that out when a few buddies and I went drinking at our usual spot. After all, the life of a rich kid taught me how to handle business and insider trading on the stock market, not discover that magic was real. Alas, being drunk and more than likely having seen something I shouldn't have left me with one choice.
Leave and pretend I'd seen nothing.
Or at least, that was the plan, until I came face-to-face with one of the witches we'd spied on, only to be thrown across the field the next moment, bringing my boring life to a swift end.
Safe to say, I was excited to finally find out that life was more than... this. More than money. More than arranged marriages. And far more magical than I could've ever believed.
