Myriads of weapons stored in subdimensional vaults, infinite energy generated from nowhere, perfect manipulation of gravity, and even immortality falls short against the raging flesh and spirit monsters. Endriel, a novice Awoken luckily bestowed with immortality, wonders why humanity still struggles even with these powers. He grows frustrated with inefficacies that others seem to be accustomed to as he attempts to investigate their enemy's rapid evolution. Along with companions, he gradually builds the arsenal and the reputation many other immortals disdain to pursue, all in search for the way to bring humanity out from its plight. The prophecy of the Third Calamity looms. The world risks being reduced once again to nothing but beasts, immortals, and ruins. Humanity desperately needs a cure, but what he finds instead are truths even gods are forbidden to bear. What to expect: Intricate weapon systems & Diverse combat expositions (I dare you to track every weapon foundry) Immersive Descriptions & Ambient (Sadly counts as Graphic Violence) Multiple Lead Characters & Factions (Tell me which one you resonate the most) Humanity acts as both Solution & Obstacle (Will it solve its own issue?) Author's Note: If any of the above interests you, well, congratulations. Check out the first (technically the zeroth) chapter and expect a 6.5k word FULL story that doesn't cliffhang you on any of the major suspense and conflict. Later chapters will get slow burning but will constantly call back to the first chapter since in my plan it was never an overcooked worldbuilding prologue. It also summarizes my narrative style and overall direction so feel free to leave reviews right after the first chapter.

Hidden gem — exposure is the bottleneck
Readers who find this story follow it at a high rate; there just aren't enough of them. In our cohort data, near-daily posting lifted the odds of reaching 25 followers from ~0% to 17% — more chapters, shoutout swaps and ads buy the eyeballs this conversion deserves.
