We inherit Earth from our ancestors exactly as it is. But it is up to us alone to decide what kind of Earth we leave behind for our descendants. Vladimir Sichovyi knows what defeat looks like. In his first life, he witnessed fire raining from the heavens. He saw civilization erased and the future of his children reduced to ashes by an asteroid humanity failed to stop. But the Universe has given him a chance. One chance in a billion. He awakens in 1975, in the body of a five-year-old boy who has yet to learn the pain of loss. This time, he has sixty years to prepare. Armed with knowledge of the Universe's hidden code and the ability to manipulate energy itself, Vladimir sets out to do far more than alter history or build a financial empire. His goal is to create a planetary shield in space and prepare sanctuaries for those who must survive when disaster comes. Can a single man rewrite the fate of humanity? Can he leave his descendants a living world instead of a radioactive wasteland? Because a legacy is not what we are given. A legacy is what we manage to preserve.
