Worldbound

Thomas and his brothers were supposed to spend the night hanging out like they had countless times before. Instead, they wake up somewhere they don't recognize with a voice in their heads, impossible Gifts, and a simple objective: survive for twenty-four hours. It doesn't take long for them to realize something far stranger is happening. They have been dropped into the world of Resident Evil, and the places, people, and creatures they once knew as fiction are suddenly very real. Knowing what they're dealing with might give them an advantage, but knowing what is supposed to happen means very little when they're the ones trying to survive. Survival, however, comes with rewards. Magic becomes real. Impossible technology comes home with them. Abilities that could change their lives are suddenly within reach, and the System makes it clear that what they've received is only a glimpse of what can be earned. Then it gives them a choice. In three months, they can walk away, lose everything they've gained, and forget the System ever existed. Or they can accept its offer and continue traveling to worlds that were never supposed to be real. For Thomas, that decision becomes more complicated when he realizes the System might offer solutions to problems their own world never could. With every new world comes another opportunity to grow stronger, acquire something impossible, or bring home something that could change their lives. The only question is what they'll become along the way. Author's Note: This is just a fun project for me. I've had this story in my head for a while and finally wanted to get it out there. I do use AI to help edit my writing, so if you have a problem with that, this may not be the book for you.
