Silverhorn is the story of two young unicorns, Knobby and Gracinda. Their race, the Cantibri unicorns, has been enslaved by some unpleasant, ogre-like creatures called Warlocks, whose leader, the Grand Warlock, wants to extend his power in as many ways as he can. The horns of the unicorns are cut off short, docked, so that useful implements like hammers or shovels can be attached to the stumps, and they spend their lives confined in a labour camp, working for the Warlocks. They are kept in order by the guardians, unicorns with authority over the others, like warders in a prison. Most of the unicorns accept this situation, which has existed for generations, and the young ones even look forward to the docking ceremony, which they see as marking their entry into adult life. Knobby has other ideas. Having had a dream, in which he saw the legendary hero, Silverhorn, who led the Cantibri in the days when they roamed freely over the plains, he refuses to be docked, and succeeds in escaping from the camp. Later, in a mysterious mountain cave, he has four dreams, which provide him with various abilities and qualities that he will need in the future. Meanwhile, Gracinda has been claimed by Banseth, the leader of the guardians. Arriving back at the camp, Knobby fights a formal duel with Banseth, which has amazing and very dramatic results.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
