Humanity is faced with a mysterious event that destroys everything on planet Earth, along with all life on it. Then something unimaginable happens. Everything is reborn from the ashes and made anew. Humanity awakens to a world that is no longer the one they knew. The planet has changed, and so have the people living on it. Abilities once thought to exist only in fiction have become reality, forcing humanity to adapt to a world where the impossible is now possible. As civilization begins to rise from the ruins of the old world, a new generation grows up in a society unlike anything that existed before. But the more humanity learns about their new world, the more questions begin to surface. What happened to Earth? Why did everything change? And what else is waiting beyond what humanity already knows? A new world has been born. And its story is only beginning.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 2–4 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views lifetime.
