Once upon a time, the world ended, and another one began. Monsters flooded the world while breaches in reality opened into extradimensional spaces—dungeons where one could find both doom and riches. Among those struck by this unfortunate fate, some gained amazing powers, allowing them to fight in these dangerous circumstances and protect humanity. To awaken is to gain the chance for fame, fortune, and prestige. Yet one might ask: what about those who aren't seen by Lady Luck? What about the unblessed? What about the Awakened not blessed with any extraordinary power, whose names are never sung, whose faces are never remembered? Let us follow Sara, an Awakened at the lowest of lows, armed with little more than a talent for repairing junk and the stubbornness to make something useful from what everyone else throws away , trying to make ends meet in New York, the walled city, locked up together with the strong and the wretched. Will she be able to carve out a place for herself among the glamour of the mighty? Or will she be forgotten like many before and after her? Unsung. Unwanted. Unprayed. if you like this story even so early, i have a patreon with more chapters. Go through the magic door and have fun
