Saito is your average Joe, with mediocre stats, and he died after being hit by a truck. His death wasn't anything unique, and thousands of others were walking alongside him on a path that seemed to lead to heaven. Saito found a weeping goddess on the side of the path, asking for help. As a last act of kindness before going to heaven, he approached the goddess. But as soon as he touched her, he was teleported to another world—the world of the god Irel. Now, unless he saves the world, he can't go back and enjoy heaven.
