Rain and The Moonlit Tower

In the distant future, Rain's life is blissfully above average and set to become even better. However, nobody could anticipate, let alone prepare, for the Dark Root Apocalypse. Cruel, grim, monstrous dark towers exploded from the Earth's crust, besieging the globe; the Dark Root followed suit, eroding life on the planet at a terrifying pace. Rain's life, like many, is upheaved, but she is eventually able to traverse the madness of this now ashen, blood-soaked world and seek "safety" in the Moonlit Tower. The tower's house horrors of their own, of course, but humanity persists like cockroaches. This particular tower, the Moonlit Tower, promises something peculiar at its peak, or at least that's what they say. Rain is willing to gamble her life on it being the truth...
