The shadow

Sixteen-year-old Ren Kurosaki has an IQ north of 180, but in the quiet streets of Shibuya, he’s just an easy target for bullies and a mystery his teachers can't fathom. Everything changes one evening when a sudden, agonizing sensation—like ten lakh needles driven into his marrow—unlocks an ancient power dormant in his blood. By daylight, he remains fragile and overlooked. But as soon as night falls over Tokyo, Ren possesses impossible night vision, the strength to shatter solid barriers, and the ability to phase through walls like fog. As rumors of a mysterious nocturnal vigilante named "Kage" spread across the city, Ren must navigate a world that rejected him by day, while ruling the darkness by night.
